#VSFashionShow2013

So technically, this blog is dedicated to life in the South. And as far as we can tell, none of the Victoria's Secret Angels are from the South (though Lily Aldridge's husband is from Tennessee...). But from the looks of our timelines, every girl we know watched the show last night so we're going to talk about it.

Britannia

So the beginning of the show was not exactly our favorite. W H Y Y Y did they open with the 10 Million Dollar Bra?! Isn't that something they usually work up to?! It was weird to see it first.

So the outfits for this sequence were pretty darn cool. They either had a British feel or a rocker feel and if you've been here for any time at all, you know we love both of those things.

While we loved the song, Fall Out Boy isn't exactly British... so it was kind of weird to have them performing during the British segment. It was even weirder to add Taylor Swift. That being said, it still kind of worked so kudos.

Not even going to lie to y'all, when we heard Great Big World would be performing the song that seems to be everywhereee right now, we rolled our eyes. How out of place, right? WRONG. This sequence was beautiful- dramatic and even artistic (Not something we usually think in regards to the #VSFashionShow).

Constance Jablonski's fringe wings in this section was one of our favorite looks of the night. How freaking cool does she look?!

One of the reigning OG Angels, Alessandra Ambrosia, really worked it in this sequence. Like, she was totally feeling it...

Parisian Nights

This sequence was EVERYTHING. By far, our favorite of the night. The other OG Angel, Adriana Lima, absolutely schooled everyone on how to make an entrance. Seriously y'all... it was fierce.

Two more of our favorite looks from the night were worn by Cindy Bruna and Erin Heatherton during this section. The black/glitz reallyyyy worked.

Clearly, the models were feeling the Miley track as much as we were. Seriously, "FU" is pretty darn awesome.

It almost felt as cool as this iconic sequence from the 2011 show...

Almost...

Birds of Paradise and PINK weren't really that memorable for us- though Fall Out Boy and Neon Jungle killed it...

Snow Angels

Seriously though, Karlie Kloss is not a real human... while this sequence featured some of the most dramatic wings of the night, Karlie's crystal onezie schooled all of them.

Oh Swifty...

Adam Levine's reaction to Behati Prinsloo's final look was precious but it will never compare to this moment...

And in case you were wondering, walking next to Lily Aldridge does, in fact, make you look even more awkward than usual.

Remember the performer strut last year?

Over all, the show was as fabulous as it always is. Only 364 more days until the next one!

Ask A Man: Holiday Gift Guide Edition

Thanks to our favorites at Social Primer for putting this post together for us. Without these beau's help, we'd be lost as far as gifts go.

Men are notoriously difficult to buy for during the holiday times because we really don’t know what we want or what we need, this is why the gal’s at Modern Magnolia’s have asked me to put together a holiday gift guide to help make this an easy and memorable holiday season. Full disclosure- I have also treated this as a personal wish list in case my Mom and Grandmothers read this article. No matter what you do or give for the holiday’s, remember no gift is worth more than your time and love- Happy Holidays!
