FRIDAY

6:00 PM Check in to one of the peninsula’s most fantastic hotels, Zero George Street, $329 per night. (@ZeroGeorgeSt, 0 George St., www.zerogeorge.com). Skip the lobby bar for now and opt for room service champagne- a toast to your arrival, if you will. Make sure to ask the concierge desk for a copy of the Charleston City Paper (@ChasCityPaper) and/or Charlie Magazine (@readCHARLIE).

8:00 PM Cypress (@cypressrest, 185 East Bay St., www.magnolias-blossom-cypress.com)
Women will love the extensive wine offerings beautifully displayed in the restaurant while the men will especially be drawn to the curated selection of hand-crafted salumi and other house charcuterie offerings.

10:00 PM The Peninsula Grill (@PeninsulaGrill, 112 N. Market St., www.peninsulagrill.com)
Stop in for a slice of the best coconut cake you've ever had. Nothing grandma makes could even compare... honestly.

12:00 AM Take a bike ride through some of the S. Battery neighborhoods and enjoy some of Charleston’s most beautiful and peaceful streets.  (Bikes can be rented through the hotel concierge.)

SATURDAY

Sleep in. You're on Charleston time.

9:30 AM Kudu Coffee & Craft Beer (@KuduCHS, 4 Vanderhorst St., www.kuducoffeeandcraftbeer.com)

A lavender latte (straight espresso for him) and your favorite newspaper on the outside patio is a great way to start a Saturday.

11:30 AM The Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art (@halseyart, 161 Calhoun St., www.halsey.cofc.edu)
View Shepard Fairey's (@obeygiant) first major exhibit in his hometown. Exhibit ends on July 12.

1:00 PM CHS Farmers Market (@charlestonfarms, Marion Square, www.charlestonfarmersmarket.com)
Enjoy the many local artisans and vendors found on the park at King & Calhoun.. Don’t miss the @Outtamyhuevos MEXICAN STREET CORN. On the way out, pick up some lunch to eat in the park.

2:00 PM White Point Garden (@CharlestonParks, 2 Murrary Blvd., www.charlestonparksconservancy.org)
Named for the sun bleached oyster shells that use to litter its banks, WPG is a fantastic park located at the tip of the peninsula that provides plenty of fun and relaxation for 2 & 4 legged friends alike.

3:00 PM This point of the day is the perfect time of day to split up and have some individual fun:

If you need an explanation, this beautiful place isn’t for you.

Clothing and other specialty goods that take you from town to the country, as any good Charleston man should be ready to do.
Classic Charleston/British style with timeless pieces that last like heirlooms.
Always a fun wild card because it’s just such a cool place to hang out in. JP is the truth.

Fresh press coffee, macaroons, truffles, almond butter croissants, tarts and anything your (would-be) Parisian heart desires.

Meet friendly makeup artists who will introduce you to new brands and tips. Leave feeling beautiful on the inside and out.
A treasure chest of one-of-a-kind pieces to adorn yourself, a loved one or your home.
A fashionista’s dream with a curated selection of this season’s designer trends. You can’t leave without a Charleston Rice Bead necklace by Candy Shop Vintage. **This is one of Caroline's absolute must-visit places every time she's in Charleston, FYI.**

6:00 PM Michael Mitchell Gallery (@mmgallery, 438 King St., www.michaelmitchellcharleston.com)
Visit the MM gallery or one of the many others on King St. for an impromptu art walk before dinner.

8:00 PM Dinner at Hall’s Chophouse (for meat) or The Ordinary (for seafood).
Order ANYTHING, but especially the Wedge salad. Yes, we recommend a salad at a steakhouse, it's that good.
Don't miss the oyster sliders and BBQ shrimp w/charred bread. They'll make you (rightly so) send a drink back to Chef @MikeLata.

10:30 PM Drinks and dancing the night away
Inside in the lounge experience the VIP treatment while sipping on champagne bottle service and dancing to the DJ. Outside in the garden, enjoy the St.Germain spritzer and take in some live music.
The Right and Wrong: Hat Trick Gin, Cocchi Americano, honey, sage, Jack Rudy Tonic $12  The bacon spiced popcorn is a steal at only $3 for a large bowl
A great late night bar with as many characters and secrets as Charleston itself.

12:30 AM & Beyond More drinks & late night food. This city is known for eating and drinking so prepare accordingly.
Advanced Players Move: Call AC's on your way in for the night and order a burger to-go. We suggest the Grand Marnier burger because why not? Kitchen closes at 1:30 am. 843 577-6742
Food and drinks until 3 AM!!!

SUNDAY

8:00 AM Dixie Supply Company (62 State St., www.dixiecafecharleston.com) Looks can be deceiving for this gas station turned cafe but your taste buds will not be fooled when you try their Belgian waffle sandwich.

10:00 AM St. Philip’s Episcopal Church (142 State St., www.stphilipschurchsc.org) Established in 1681, St. Philip’s is the oldest religious congregation in South Carolina and is a breathtaking place to sit and worship. This is the Holy City, afterall.

8
12:00 PM Alluette’s Cafe (@alluette, 80 A Reid St., www.alluettes.com) Mrs. Alluette’s small cafe is as beautiful and vibrant inside as her holistic approach to southern soul food. One of the few places that can fill your stomach and your heart simultaneously.

We hope you don’t feel too overwhelmed- if you’re only going to be in our beloved city for 36 hours, we wanted to make sure you experienced as much of the Holy City as possible. We intentionally left our tourist-y things like carriages rides, the Market, etc. because, let’s be honest, that’s just too easy. Experience Charleston like a local. And next time, plan to stay longer!
