Demi Lovato's #NeonLightsTour - So Good, I Cried.

So I've been on a concert kick lately, and my most recent concert shenanigans were this weekend in Atlanta with two of my favorite Modern Magnolias. We were in town to see Demi Lovato's Neon Lights Tour. Demi is not only a Texas gal, but she is crazy talented. Since Demi is the definition of what a Modern Magnolia really is, we decided to do a concert recap for y'all!!!

We started our girls night at Heat Lounge, a blowout and makeup bar in Atlanta, because we obviously had to make sure we looked good for our girl Demi. Let me just say that if you live in/are going to be in the Atlanta area, you should seriously check them out. The atmosphere is absolutely amazing and the stylists and staff were phenomenal. I got to drink champagne, have someone do my hair and makeup, and watch Sex In The City. It was perfect. And I don't know if y'all are going think I'm gross, but I totally didn't have to wash my hair all weekend after my stylist was finished with it. Not sure what she she did exactly, but I need it to happen ALL THE TIME. Y'all should check out Heat Lounge on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/HeatLoungeSalon), Twitter (@HeatLounge_ATL), and Instagram (@heatlounge_atlanta). Shout out to my stylist, Lola, for making my hair and makeup look FABULOUS!

Now about the concert...

For starters, we were the oldest people at the Neon Lights Tour that didn't have a minor under the age of 13 with us. Which I was 100% fine (no lines at the bar!).

We missed Fifth Harmony (oops). I'm sure they were really good but I only know like one of their songs so... Oh well. There was also this magician. He did like one cool trick and the pre-teen girls seemed to be really into him.

After the magician performed and the DJ played "Talk Dirty" roughly 347 times (but without the 2 Chainz part, UGH), Little Mix performed and I teared up.

I legitimately almost cried. Y'all, they were THAT good. Now, if you're not a Little Mix fan, you should go buy their new album and stalk them on YoutTube because they are actual perfection. If Destiny's Child, TLC, and the Spice Girls had a love child, it would be Little Mix.

But for real... TOO FAB.

They did a girl group mash-up featuring 'No Scrubs' and 'Bootylicious' (video above) that A) we were the only ones who knew the words to because everyone else there was like 12 years old and B) was potentially the greatest thing I have ever heard in my entire life. In the same mash-up they sang "Don't Let Go" by En Vogue (they did it on the X-Factor UK--YouTube it) and I LOST MY MIND.

That's me screaming about how I was losing my mind.

When Little Mix headlines their own tour, I'm without a doubt buying backstage passes. I need them to be my best friends.

Demi...

After Little Mix performed the magician came on stage (AGAIN--like I was over it), the queen herself entered the arena and was the most perfect thing I have ever seen. I expected the concert to be good, but this was on an entirely different level. Seriously, DEMI. IS. FLAWLESS. I'm now considering dying may hair pink and I absolutely NEED that black sequin jacket she was wearing.

She sang songs from her most recent album and I was obsessed. She also sang "Here We Go Again" and I nearly fainted (I had completely forgotten I knew every single word to that song). My girl Demz didn't stop there. She actually sang "Let It Go" from Frozen and I think we all had a panic attack. But then y'all.. I kid you not. I think I died, came back to life, and died again when she sang "Don't Forget" and threw THE MOST SHADE at Joe Jonas. There was legitimately a video of Demi and fetus Joe in Camp Rock and everything. BUT THAT WASN'T ALL. She literally stopped singing in the middle of the song to dis the middle Jo Bro. Semi-direct quote from Demi: "You forgot about me so I forgot about you." OH. THE. SHADE. Most of us would have been a little wary of calling out our ex-boyfriend in front of thousands of people, especially since Nick Jonas is the Creative/Musical Director for the Neon Lights Tour (props bro, it was amazing). Whatever. Demi's just like:

In short, the concert was perfection. Demi Absolutely commanded the stage and sounded amazing live! If you can get tickets to this concert, DO IT. Demi is everything a Modern Magnolia should be: fabulous, confident and tough as nails. GIRL IS A ROCK STAR.

(Lastly, shout out to the two teenage guys sitting behind us who clearly brought their little sister to the concert. They literally looked up the lyrics to every song and SCREAMED them along with Demi. Highlight of our night.)

SIDE NOTE: The next morning we had brunch at Edgewood Corner Tavern (which was phenom), and we didn't want to admit it to the hipsters working there, but we totally chose this place based on the fact (I did extensive research) that it's where Nina Dobrev and Liam Hemsworth were seen canoodling. No shame, y'all.

P.S. I think Demi is the next Supreme.
We love you Demz!

Much love, y'all..
